Acrylic on Canvas
I have been very busy with office work lately and I still tried finishing this painting which I submitted for a competition, which unfortunately I didn't win or anything but I'm just glad I was able to push myself to finish what I have started. I used acrylic on a 50cm x 70cm canvas. It's my first time to use this medium and it was really a challenge and very difficult for me :D.

Filling-in the Moleskine Pages
doodle one |
doodle 2 |
I have a couple of moleskin journals which I have kept for a very long time but this morning I decided to use it for my doodles using my ever favorite nut brown ink. I was able to make two rough sketches today and I plan to make one sketch a day until I fill in the whole notebook and let's see how many characters I could come up for my Faerie Patch.

Doodle
This is just a doodle that I did a few days ago, I tried using my nut brown ink and watercolor. It's one of those days when I'm extremely inspired with the works of Beatrix Potter.

Bella as an Autumn Faerie
This is a continuation of my faerie portrait illustrations. For this piece, I made Bella a cheerful autumn pixie with her toadstool friends and a dormouse before her. I am initially laying the basic yellow and brown hues which will set the tone of fall colors all throughout the painting. There are loads of leaves, berries, twigs that will need my full attention and ofcourse - patience :) Hopefully I could finish this in a week or two...office work messes up my painting sessions...ugh!

Finally! I was able to finish this commissioned portrait today and am quite pleased with the outcome. I still have four portraits to do and hopefully I could start on the second one tomorrow.
